Bio

I draw pictures all day. I LOVE to design patterns, papers, products... it's my calling.

Aside from being an internationally recognized designer, I am also a wife, mother of twins, sister, daughter, cat owner, crafter, scrapper, writer, good cook, good friend, good listener, dreamer, doer, and  lover of all things artistic, among other things.

I'm inspired by everything. I find delight in the ordinary, beauty in the simplicity of all things, love in the hearts of family and friends...

I lose myself in creative ventures, often times forgetting basic things like lunch and using the bathroom.

I used to multi-task but now prefer to be present and attentive to one thing at a time.

I put 100% of myself into everything I do
( I get annoyed when people use the phrase "I give 110%", or anything over 100%,  because that's just nonsense - you can't give more than you are...likewise when someone says "I don't want just 100%, I want 110% from you" I'd love to just once, tell them what an idiot they are because you can't get more than 100% of anything, seriously, ever looked at a pie chart buddy? You want more than 100%, hire me an assistant! Sheesh, who put these people at the top of the organizational chart...ey yi yi)

I get impatient while working because I want to see things done.

I thrive on accomplishment and sometimes bite off more than I can chew.

I have a hard time saying no even though I want to.

I love Blue Bunny FroYo.

I, many times, can't leave well enough alone.

I would love to own a bulldog, rescue a greyhound and own a big cat sanctuary. Yes, I have a ridiculous soft spot for all animals (even the mice that invade our house).

I think BLOGGER needs to add more fonts and give us more font size and color options.

I think Chocolate Mousse is the bomb and will risk getting Salmonella from it's raw eggs if given the chance.

I try not to eat junk food and am, at present, failing miserably (thanks alot Doritos)

I quote movie lines. It's a game I play with my husband...we slip them into normal conversation to see how quickly the other finishes the line or says the next. We crack ourselves up.

I love my husband more than he will ever know.

I amuse myself by talking for my cats and random dogs and other animals that I see. I have a designated animated animal voice that I use every time too. I'm not embarrassed by it, it's pretty funny really.

I often overuse commas, and capitalize words that should not be capped, but it irks me when people misuse their, there and they're.

I'm somewhat sarcastic and snarky, but in a good natured way.

More often than not I edit blog entries without warning.

I believe everything is always a work in progress.

My kids are AWESOME, (and this is not just because I'm their Mom) -every one says so.

I could write more, but that would leave absolutely no stone unturned, and what fun would that be?
